So far every day in beauty school has been amazing! Learning new things every day is what I LOVE doing. Let me show you a few of those: • Proper wash & blowdry • 2 types of perms (basic & spiral) • Rollerset (on-base, half-base & off-base) • Cuts (0°, 180° & 45°) • Highlighting w/foils  • Balayage • Coloring (All over & root touch-up) • Hair relaxers (Sodium hydroxide) • Scalp Treatments • Facial massage Basic Perm End result of Basic Perm End result of Rollerset Highlights using the weaving technique Layered haircut (180°) on my sister Blowout All over coloring Hand-painted Balayage  End result of Balayage (straightened) End result of Balayage (curled) I'm still as excited as I was my first day. I started beauty school a month ago. I woke up two hours before my alarm clock because I was genuinely excited for the upcoming first day of school. I have never been fond of the idea of college. It was never highly encouraged, nor discouraged in my house. So there is no regret of my decision in the choice of schooling, even though there have been several disappointing comments from people around me. I'm supremely thankful for parents that support my passions, whatever they may be.  Hair is one of the most beautiful features on a person. There are countless ways you can change or arrange your hair. Everyone has a unique individualistic passion and personality which can be displayed with your appearance. Feeling loved and special is one of the major goals I have for every future client. If I could let every person I come into contact with see how beautiful and cherished they are, that would make my career and purpose worthwhile. A beaut...

One of my English lessons required me to improve my public speaking technique and well, for some reason I thought it would be more beneficial if I used my blog instead. No, it's not cheating. I'm imagining that I'm speaking to you right now. In the future. Or the past. Or whenever or whoever eventually read this. In the Applying the Lesson section of my English assignment there is helpful suggestions on what to write about. For example, an interesting animal, eh. An unusual plant, I'm not that good with plants. A summer project of your own, if I chose this one you would probably stab me for describing last year's boring summer bucket list idea. Long story short, we didn't finish all the items on our list and ended up with some odd-looking tie-dye shirts. And last of all, a hobby. Yes, I think that will do just nicely. I have many sorts of hobbies. Some that I'm fond of doing only in a certain time of the year, or just when I feel like it. But th...
