I started beauty school a month ago. I woke up two hours before my alarm clock because I was genuinely excited for the upcoming first day of school. I have never been fond of the idea of college. It was never highly encouraged, nor discouraged in my house. So there is no regret of my decision in the choice of schooling, even though there have been several disappointing comments from people around me. I'm supremely thankful for parents that support my passions, whatever they may be.  Hair is one of the most beautiful features on a person. There are countless ways you can change or arrange your hair. Everyone has a unique individualistic passion and personality which can be displayed with your appearance. Feeling loved and special is one of the major goals I have for every future client. If I could let every person I come into contact with see how beautiful and cherished they are, that would make my career and purpose worthwhile. A beauty icon in the hairstyling

Hair Tutorial/ /Effortless Voluminous Curls

Image
These are, honestly, the most, easiest curls I have ever done. Effortlessly quick and beautifully thick with volume. Who doesn't want that? The products I used to achieve this look.  ↴ How I got there was first use my ALL-TIME favorite heat protectant . Y'all, this stuff is amazing! If you aren't using some form of heat protectant, you really should. Not only does it lessen the amount of time it takes for you to style your hair, it protects it and keeps it from heat damage. Now take the hair and divide into two parts. (You can skip this part if your hair is not as thick. My sister's locks are soooo thick so I had to create two ponytails. But if you can go along with just one, that is perfectly fine.) Separate the top half from the bottom half by a horizontal line. Once sectioned, take some  hair ties  and put the hair in ponytails.  You're going to grab that curling wand and start curling the ends coming from your ponytails. By doing this, you'

Nail Art/ /Gradient Look

Going for the "gradient" look with this simple nail art design.  Used a dark, forest green as my base polish and coated the tips of my nails with a sparkly pink, gemstone polish. Make sure to clean around the cuticle area with a cuticle stick or some q-tips soaked in acetone. ♡ Anna

Have you ever been through a long day at work and feel as if you haven't done a thing? Or, you make a to-do list in your head and the list just keeps expanding?  I'm never satisfied. It seems there's always something else I need to finish. My mind strays to the tasks that need to be done, rather than living in the mess. Some people call me a clean freak. When working I tend to keep myself preoccupied with things that won't make me seem idle, especially if or when the boss makes an unexpected check up. It seems as if every time my employer comes by where I am working it's in those moments when I'm plumb worn out of being a busy body. It seems as if I've not done a thing when in reality I've been trying to keep myself from not doing anything. Does that make sense?  Just this past week I pondered why exactly I get so wound up in trying to look as if I'm a hard worker. Why do I desire to please other people so much. Why does it even ma
