Beauty Haul/ /Summer 2017

Image
I was plumb empty on several of my major go-to products, so I made a stop to one of my happy places; Ulta. Shopping for beauty necessities, yes every girl has 'em, is always one of my favorite things to do. Especially if you can make a girls' day out of it! Here is my June makeup haul. I purchased a few Staples, along with some products that I've never tried before. So let's get into it! Kenra ™ //Volume Spray 25//10.0 oz After noticing that  Stephanie — a famous hairstylist that I've been stalking for over a year now — partnered up with  Kenra ™  to distribute her own line of texturizing products, I knew that I had to grab me some. Advertised to hold hair even up to 25MPH wind power. Humidity resistance is very high (yay! I live in a State that has sporadic weather, so this one is a biggie). Flakey-free and dries fast, holding up to 120 hours. I was really excited about this one.  After using it for several hairstyles I've noticed tha

Whaaat? A meal that is under 150 calories?  This cannot be fully satisfying. Yet it is. The eggs mixed with cheesy sauteed kale, alongside a crunchy piece of toast and sliced banana is surprisingly filling.  And yes, I am using a toddler fork. Don't judge, I haven't had time to do the dishes recently... Ingredients:  3 tbsp of Egg Scramblers 1/2 cup of kale 1/8 a cup of mozzarella cheese 1/2 a banana 1 slice of 35 Calorie Whole Wheat Bread Calories:  Egg Scramblers - 25 Kale - 9 Cheese - 20  Banana - 53 Bread - 35 Total - 142 Rate of Tastinesss:  ★★★★★ This is proof that there are healthy ways to eat your favorite meals. You just have to find the non-commercialized route and research a bit, but in the end it is so worth it! Investing in your body and treating what has been given to you is such a priority that we tend to neglect too often. I hope this post motivated you! If you want more inspiration on healthy eating/dieting, come

Pink is always a good option. Especially when pairing it with nude polishes. For this nail art design, I wanted to go with something simple with a touch of femininity. ♡ Anna

Family devotionals have always been very trivial with my family. We either don't get enough time to do it, or events take place and we simply forget to do it. But most cases we end up just making excuses. After coming back from our mission trip we realized how important those devotionals were with our group. They were empowering and motivating. Each day it became one of the things I looked forward to doing.  When we came back home we knew that we wanted to include my dad in the devotionals, who wasn't able to join us on the mission trip. We've picked through some really good devotionals, but books never seem to be finished with us, so my dad found a video devotional series by Mark Hall  that we are almost finished with. Every night he reads a scripture in the devotionals and goes over it with funny analogies and stories that tie everything in together.  After a few nights passed things started to happen.  First epidemic, my mom was saving a bunch of edited photos,

"I am free. I am ransomed. I've never felt this way before, like a slave set free who was born a slave and never knew what freedom was like.” Summary:  Running for her life, Sally Beth Roe has just escaped from murderous hands that are trying to cover up their loose ends in a case involving the destruction of a local Christian Elementary school in Bacon's Corner. The case led by a classified Satanist cult that enraptures souls into believing that a one-world peace is achievable and that you are your own god. There is no reason to feel right or wrong, all is pleasing and pleasurable in this life until their true cover is exposed.  One of their highest esteemed members causes things to stir up in the small town, which causes Sally's life to not be the only one threatened. Young Tom Harris, a faithful member of the local Baptist congregation and a teacher in the Christian school, has his kids stripped away from him for something he has done in the past that is now

Hair Tutorial/ /Loose Spirals

My hair tends to be a little indecisive. Some days I can blow dry it and it looked as if I straightened it, on others I can let it air dry and it'll be curly ringlets. I guess that's what you'd call a neutral head, maybe? I'm neither naturally straight, nor am I curly. I'm sort of in-between. The good thing about my hair-type is any look can hold for long periods of time. Which comes in handy when I want loose tousled waves, like these.  Products I used:  Hottools™ 1" curling iron Kenra™  Volume Spray Super Hold Finishing Spray n.25 OGX™ Argan Oil
