The Cuthbert siblings decide to adopt an able worker for their Gables and farmland, but in the mixup of the adoption they end up with a tiny, impassioned, red-headed Anne Shirley. Your first initial greeting with the honest, and sharp Marque, Lord Alverstroke, was one to capture your utmost attention immediately. His character was witty and frequently rude. He finds joy in breaking hearts. He becomes amused when his sisters are riled up. His only love is himself. Wuthering Heights, Emily Brontë “If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger.” Summary: Y ou start the story in the shoes of Mr. Lockwood, the new vivacious and friendly resident in a quaint manor named Thrushcross Grange. He, shortly after the opening, gains the acquaintance of his dark and brooding landlord, Mr. Heathcliff. A winter storm causes our protagonist to stay overnight in his gentlemanly proprietor's humble abode, which is known as Wuthering Heights. Mr. Lockwood begins to question his motives of befriending the unusual neighbors. Mr. Heathcliff's family, along with the odd, weird noises throughout the house provoke Mr. Lockwood to have a horrible stay. They’re still princesses.” Summary:  Little Sara Crewe gets brought to England to stay in a Select Seminary for Young Ladies, accompanied by her warm, benevolent father, Captain Crewe. Greeted by a seemingly kind-hearted, Miss Minchin, who is in charge of the girls at the boarding school, she makes it feel as if a dream has begun in young Sara's eyes, who has lived in India for her entire life. After the Captain goes back home, Miss Muchin and her sister, Miss Amelia, treat Sara as if she were a true princess (mainly because of her heavily income from her wealthy father) . She makes several friends and a few enemies, unintentionally, because of her astounding nature. Sara always puts other's needs before her own. Agnes Grey, Anne Bront ë “Reading is my favourite occupation, when I have leisure for it and books to read.” Summary:  This novel is about Agnes Grey dealing with life in the 19th century. Her mother married a poor parson out of love and lost her ladyship in the role of society. Mr. and Mrs. Grey birthed two daughters; Mary and Agnes. Growing up they were very poor since Mr. Grey lost his inheritance due to his ill-health. Agnes, determined to support part of the income for the family, becomes a governess. Her first position with a relative recommendation does not end well. However, her second family, the Murrays, went a bit more steady. While teaching at Horton Lodge Agnes gets acquainted with a neighbor of the Murrays; Nancy Brown. After obtaining free time from the two, assertive Murray daughters; Rosalie and Matilda. During one of her visits to read for Ms.Brown, she meets the new parson, Mr. Weston. Thoughts:  Amazing. Agnes Grey is now one of my favorites....

Jane Eyre, Charlotte Brontë “I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will.” Summary:  A suspenseful, perplexing story, yet exceedingly stunning, and inspiring. The little orphan, Jane Eyre , went through some difficulties that no person should have to endure. Her earlier life was full of torment and hate, however, she did not allow her past to influence her future. She involuntarily became a beacon of light to all the characters around her. Her selflessness encouraged the weak and feeble-minded. Her independence and strong will determined the strong faith she had in her Lord and God. After being aroused by her only (known) living relative, Aunt Reed, who tortured younger Jane, and hated her with all her being, Jane decides to run away. She stays in a charity school for young orphaned girls for 8 years. Once she reaches the age of maturity and freedom for a young woman of 18, she decides to enter into the world headstrong and...
