Motivation Inspiration/ /He has Risen

"He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." (Matthew 28:6)

I know that Easter has come and gone, and the story of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ has already been shared on Sunday morning, but it's not just a story to be told once every Spring. The story of God's Son should be talked about and shared every day!

"-Talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." (Deuteronomy 6:7-9)

This was God talking to the Israelites when they just escaped captivity in Egypt. They were new to this relationship with God and faltered many times by the wiles of the enemy. When God gave Moses the Ten Commandments, as a guide to living righteously, He wanted to make it clear that the commandments needed to be more than firm statutes. By using them in the everyday things, they became more real and valued.

As the truths of God's Word should also be in our lives.

Reflecting back on the past 9 Spiritually born-again years of my life, I was reminded of the many wonderful blessings and growths that the Lord has brought me through. Here are several things that I felt led to share.

Because He has risen

Because He has risen I can rejoice in my salvation.

Because He has risen my chains are loosened.

Because He has risen royal blood flows through me.

Because He has risen my iniquities are buried.

Because He has risen my spirit is able to have a personal relationship with my Creator.

Because He has risen I will receive a crown at the end of this life.

Because He has risen I have a peace that passes all understanding.

Because He has risen destiny has a new meaning.

Because He has risen I have everlasting hope.

Because He has risen the grave is empty!

Because He has risen there is proof and evidence of a Savior.

Because He has risen death no longer stings.

Because He has risen, can you say the same?
