Her passion for baking sweet delicacies opposes her parents' dream of her becoming Queen. Lady Catherine distastes the idea of accepting the King's proposal. Mainly because of her bakery ambition that was conjured up ever since she realized the generational family trait of storytelling was not passed down to her.
