Must Needed Bags + Bag Essentials

Image
Do you ever pack and pack, and then re-pack your purse because you always are need of something that you don't have? Well, here are some bag essentials that I have needed in the past and you might need in the future! Hair Elastics You do not know how many times people have asked me for one! It always seems like the days that you need a hair elastic the most, you can't find one on you. That's why I love this kind of elastics because I can wear them on my wrist without fretting over my circulation. Chapstick Especially when the seasons are changing! I usually have 2 kinds of chapsticks with me; the kind that I can share with my family, (yes even dad) , and one that has a tinted stain to it. Lotion For the times when your skin is rougher than rock or dry like the Sahara desert. Concealer Concealer is my main makeup product. I can't go without it, so I always like to keep an extra one on me. Socks You know when you slip a pair of socks on and once...

Tennessee Shopping Haul

I found this cute little cosmetic bag at an outlet store. I really needed a Bible case to hold and organize all of my Bible study tools and journals. I bought it intentionally for that specific purpose, but if my Bible didn't fit I would just use it for makeup or beauty accessories. I am thrilled to show you that my Bible indeed fit, along with all of my other tools and journals! And look, there's room for more! Vera Bradley/ / Tropical Paradise  design is only available in factory outlet stores. Here are some makeup/skin care products I purchased at a couple of the outlets. A girl's gotta shop during vacation, right? Sometimes I find the best products on trips! Clinique Pep-Start HydroRush Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 / / $29.50 Gives skin a healthy-looking glow and UV protection against the sun’s aging rays. Wear it alone, or under foundation as a prep for makeup. Fortunately, I purchased this the day after we arrived at o...

What's in My Makeup Bag/ /2018

I love trying new things and looking through articles and catalogs with new beauty items, but I always go back to what I'm used to. Do you do that too? Here are some products that are my all-time favorites. Beauty items and tools that I use on a daily basis.  Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation is my favorite! I have the shade, 2W1 Dawn . It's my transition shade from spring to summer.  No7 Tinted Moisturizer is perfect for the days I don't really want to wear a ton of products. I can apply this to a little bit of concealer and go out the door! My shade is in fair .  Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer is the best bronzer I have ever used. It smells just like a tropical dream vacation too! There are only 4 different shades and I have the original Bronzer .  NYX Tinted Brow Pomade in the shade Brunette is what I use for really defined brows.  If I just want a light eyebrow filler, I'll use Urban Deca...

What? Anna's finally doing a shopping haul? Yes, I am! Here are a few different things I have purchased in the last month or so. I am all for deals. There's this consignment store near me where my mom and sister go pretty much every time we're in town. I love it! The last couple of times I've been in I've found some awesome deals. One of those being these super cute dusty pink jeggings  and a coral vest that I absolutely love. I get in trouble every time I go into Hobby Lobby. My last trip was no exception. I ended up finding all kinds of stuff. Thank goodness my mom texted me a coupon! I found a really affordable felt board that I can stick letters on to make my own sayings. My chair at Beauty School is looking rather dull at the moment, so I need something new. This board will be perfect for just that! I'm so excited. Now I just have to come up with sayings to put on there... I also found my favorite  pens to study my Bible with, as well as wash...

Beauty Haul/ /Summer 2017

I was plumb empty on several of my major go-to products, so I made a stop to one of my happy places; Ulta. Shopping for beauty necessities, yes every girl has 'em, is always one of my favorite things to do. Especially if you can make a girls' day out of it! Here is my June makeup haul. I purchased a few Staples, along with some products that I've never tried before. So let's get into it! Kenra ™ //Volume Spray 25//10.0 oz After noticing that  Stephanie — a famous hairstylist that I've been stalking for over a year now — partnered up with  Kenra ™  to distribute her own line of texturizing products, I knew that I had to grab me some. Advertised to hold hair even up to 25MPH wind power. Humidity resistance is very high (yay! I live in a State that has sporadic weather, so this one is a biggie). Flakey-free and dries fast, holding up to 120 hours. I was really excited about this one.  After using it for several hairstyles I've noticed tha...
