Must Needed Bags + Bag Essentials

Image
Do you ever pack and pack, and then re-pack your purse because you always are need of something that you don't have? Well, here are some bag essentials that I have needed in the past and you might need in the future! Hair Elastics You do not know how many times people have asked me for one! It always seems like the days that you need a hair elastic the most, you can't find one on you. That's why I love this kind of elastics because I can wear them on my wrist without fretting over my circulation. Chapstick Especially when the seasons are changing! I usually have 2 kinds of chapsticks with me; the kind that I can share with my family, (yes even dad) , and one that has a tinted stain to it. Lotion For the times when your skin is rougher than rock or dry like the Sahara desert. Concealer Concealer is my main makeup product. I can't go without it, so I always like to keep an extra one on me. Socks You know when you slip a pair of socks on and once...

What to Wear this Spring Quiz

Image
Springtime is one of my favorite times to try something new! Here are a few outfit inspirations that can inspire you! Florals are perfect for Springtime (and anytime, really) ! I love the way this blouse can turn a look into such a girly outfit. If you're wanting to enhance your feminine side, try out some floral prints! Maybe you're really laid back. Easy to please kind-of-gal. This look should catch your eye. It's stylish, yet very relaxed with a button tee and skinny jeans rolled up.  Comfy and cozy are the two perfect adjectives for this look! The cardiga n and sneakers combined make the look effortlessly classic. A plain sweatshirt can look so much different paired with an elegant scarf . Whether you're running errands or going to your favorite bookstore, this look is very cute and stylish! Perhaps you want to try something even bolder? Trench coats are perfect for adding to any outfit! This look is very trend...

Shopping Haul/ /Winter 2018

Image
What? Anna's finally doing a shopping haul? Yes, I am! Here are a few different things I have purchased in the last month or so. I am all for deals. There's this consignment store near me where my mom and sister go pretty much every time we're in town. I love it! The last couple of times I've been in I've found some awesome deals. One of those being these super cute dusty pink jeggings  and a coral vest that I absolutely love. I get in trouble every time I go into Hobby Lobby. My last trip was no exception. I ended up finding all kinds of stuff. Thank goodness my mom texted me a coupon! I found a really affordable felt board that I can stick letters on to make my own sayings. My chair at Beauty School is looking rather dull at the moment, so I need something new. This board will be perfect for just that! I'm so excited. Now I just have to come up with sayings to put on there... I also found my favorite  pens to study my Bible with, as well as wash...

Lookbook + Book Review

Image
I wanted to try something new for this post. I've been really interested in fashion lately as well as posting more reviews on certain products. So for this post, I would like to introduce an outfit + some book reviews (maybe a few makeup products too!) The outfit These boots were a gift from my sweet aunt. I have no idea where they came from, so I had to find a relatively similar pair in my lookbook catalog. I love them because they're so cozy and warm. You can barely tell you're walking with heels because they're so comfortable.  Here is my cheesy face trying to not act like I'm taking a selfie when in reality I totally am.  The Makeup I hope you enjoyed my little lookbook and seeing my favorite products to use! Now on to the books! If you like superheroes and action-packed adventure stories, Renegades , is perfect for you! Or maybe you're thinking a beautiful fairytale retelling is up your alley. You ...

Lookbook/ /Favorite Cardigan

Image
If you've seen me in public before, you can tell I love my cardigans. I found this favorite of mine at Forever 21 awhile back and love to wear it everywhere. Especially to a coffee shop, or a run to the local bookstore, or even getting groceries.  You can dress it up or down, depending on your preference.  That's probably one of the reasons I love cardigans so much. The ability to change your tee shirt into a sophisticated style.  ♡Anna Shop the Look!

How to Wear a Blanket Scarf 101

Image
Have you ever gotten frustrated over trying to not suffocate by the trendy, but quite large blanket scarves? Well, fear no more. Because I came up with the perfect way to wear them and adore them to your style! First, you're going to have to decide which one matches the best. My favorite way of doing this is looking from a distance and noticing the first color that pops in the scarf, and I'll match my outfit to that color. Once you decide what blanket scarf you'll be wanting to wear, unfold the scarf completely. Then, take the corners opposite of each other and fold over to make a triangle. To get rid of the bulk and make it more like a scarf rather than a full blanket, turn it over a couple of times. Place it around your neck so that the smaller ends are going around the back.  Then bring the ends towards the front after twisting them around your neck. To hide the ends tuck them into the big portion of your scarf in the ...

Nail Art/ /Fall Flowers

Image
When the leaves start to turn and the weather gets more chilly is my favorite time of the year. Not only do you get to bring out the cute sweaters and boots out, you can wear appropriate nail polishes that match the season! I love these colors together. Of course, you can wear this design with one nail painted with a different polish. The various flower designs are super-super easy to do. The tools I used to make them were toothpicks. (Yes, can you believe it?) I honestly think they work better than the average acrylic dotting tools because of the smaller size you are able to work with. The polishes featuring this look are: Essie/ /Mamba Sally Hansen/ /Cool Cucumber Sally Hansen/ /Tribal Sun OPI/ /Back Onyx Sally Hansen/ /Expresso Sally Hansen/ /Hard-Core Party OPI/ /Taupe-less Beach Sally Hansen/ /Diamond Shine Top Coat Not sure what to pair these nails with?
